The Minimalist Romance of Only Her
It’s often said the most resonant brands are born from personal ritual—from those quiet, instinctive moments where intuition leads and the world, unexpectedly, follows. For Chanelle Victoria, founder and designer of Only Her, that moment came softly but surely. What began as a passion project evolved into something women didn’t just want to wear—they wanted to feel.
“Only Her started as something just for me—a creative outlet that allowed me to explore my love for design, femininity and pure creation,” Chanelle shares. “The turning point came when I saw how other women connected with the pieces—not just aesthetically, but emotionally. That was it for me. When women began telling me they felt seen, confident, and beautiful in my designs, I realised this was bigger than me.”
That emotional resonance is the undercurrent of everything Chanelle creates—garments intended not only to endure, but to matter. “Timelessness, to me, means designing with longevity in mind,” she explains. “It’s about creating garments that don’t chase trends but instead offer something deeper—emotion, elegance, and intention.”
With a refined design language of sculpted simplicity and softly spoken sensuality, Only Her avoids the noise. Instead, it whispers. Think: fluid silhouettes, a neutral palette, elevated textures. “I want every design to hold sentimental value, like something you return to for life’s most meaningful moments.”
And return we do.
The transition to Only Her by Chanelle Victoria marked a more defined step into her creative identity—a subtle shift that spoke volumes. “It marked a moment of clarity—where the vision became more refined and the creative direction more intentional,” she says. “Adding my name wasn’t about making it personal, but about aligning the brand more closely with its identity and direction.”
That identity is undeniably rooted in quiet luxury—an aesthetic shaped in no small part by her time abroad. “France—especially Paris—completely transformed the way I approach design,” Chanelle says. “There’s a sense of ease, charm, and timelessness that’s impossible to ignore… every piece I design is rooted in that feeling—like something you stumbled across in a beautiful European boutique.”
Only Her doesn’t just look effortless—it lives it. With sustainability woven into the foundation of the brand, Chanelle is committed to producing consciously, not compulsively. “True luxury is thoughtful—it’s slow, intentional, and made to last,” she says. “I avoid overproduction and believe that creating less, but better, is the most responsible and beautiful way forward for my brand.”
This ethos—thoughtful, feminine, grounded—extends to every curve and contour of her designs. “Femininity is so layered—it’s not just softness, but strength, depth, and quiet confidence,” she says. “My silhouettes often feature subtle structure with flowing movement, while tones are neutral and warm… It’s about honouring the female form in a way that feels both powerful and personal.”
Of course, carving out space in the mid-luxury fashion landscape comes with its challenges. Chanelle is clear-eyed about them. “It gets hard at times when you do see everyone going right and you want to go left,” she admits. “But my proudest moments always come when women message me saying they wore Only Her to a special event and felt like the most beautiful version of themselves. That emotional connection is everything to me.”
Her creative process is just as intuitive as her design philosophy. “I start with a mood or memory—often visualising a woman in a specific moment or place and how she would feel,” she says. From fabric sourcing to sketches and final fittings, Chanelle stays intimately connected to every detail. “Because Only Her is personal, every design has to feel right emotionally, not just aesthetically. That’s what keeps it meaningful.”
It’s this emotional precision that keeps women coming back to Only Her—not simply to be dressed, but to feel reflected. “Only Her isn’t about dressing up for anyone else; it’s about dressing into yourself,” Chanelle reflects. “I want women to feel like they already are the version of themselves they’re aspiring to be—elegant, capable, and grounded.”
Looking ahead, Chanelle is in no rush to scale. The future of Only Her is being curated with the same restraint and intention that shaped its beginning. “It’s not about rushing or expanding for the sake of it—it’s about deepening what’s already here and making it even more meaningful,” she says. “I’m also really intentional about curating the customer experience—making sure that from the moment someone discovers Only Her, it feels personal, considered, and aligned with the feeling I design for.”
And if one dress could embody that feeling? It would be Sophia. “The Sophia Dress is a signature piece from the Linger collection—elegant, fluid, and made to leave an impression,” she says. “It feels like something you discovered in a hidden European boutique—timeless, feminine, and meant to be cherished.”
Much like the woman who created it.
